User Roles

Using Polyteia Analytics is possible through various roles. There are the Viewer, Editor, Analyst, and Administrator roles. The licenses available in your organization depend on the platform package booked. The data solutions or datasets you have access to are determined by the permissions assigned to you.

Viewer - The Viewer role allows a user to view reports in Polyteia Analytics but not to edit them (e. g., a data solution created by Polyteia or a colleague with an Analyst license). Viewers can apply filters and export entire reports or individual charts. Every user has at least Viewer permissions.

Editor - In addition to Viewer permissions, users with the Editor role can create charts and reports based on available data.

Analyst - Users with the Analyst role have maximum flexibility in their work with Polyteia Analytics. They can upload their own data, explore it using SQL, and create their own datasets.

Administrator - Users with the Administrator role can invite new users to Polyteia Analytics and distribute permissions flexibly. The Administrator role will be activated soon. Until then, Polyteia will manage user administration for you.
