How can I create reports?
With Polyteia Analytics, you can enhance your storytelling by incorporating various elements into your report. To edit the report, click on the edit button in the top right corner.
Report Elements
- Side-Navigation: This feature helps you categorize and organize the content within your report. You can create pages that include other elements or group pages within sections to facilitate navigation. Within the navigation panel, you can add sections and pages to increase usability.
- Rows: Rows are horizontal sections within the report layout. Each row can accommodate one or more columns, allowing you to organize and arrange visualizations and other elements either side by side or stacked vertically. Rows contribute to a structured layout, presenting information and insights effectively.
- Columns: Columns are the vertical divisions within each row. You can set the width of each column to allow for a flexible arrangement of visualizations and components. Dividing rows into columns enables you to design custom layouts that showcase multiple visualizations or components in a single row, enhancing the report's effectiveness in conveying information.
- Headers: Headers are textual elements that can be added above or within rows to provide clear labels or titles for specific areas of the report page.
- Text: Text components allow you to include additional context, explanations, or annotations within the report. You can add text boxes or paragraphs to offer insights, instructions, or commentary alongside visualizations and other components. At Polyteia Analytics, you can choose between a visual editor and markdown.
- Dividers: Dividers offer visual separation between different areas or groups of visualizations and components within the report. Inserting dividers creates clear boundaries and delineates distinct sections, helping to organize the report layout and enhance readability.
- Charts: When adding a chart to your report, you can choose whether the panel should display only the charts you created or all charts that you have access to. Additionally, you can filter and sort the view.
All elements can be easily added to the dashboard via drag and drop. You can freely change the position of every element on your page and adjust the size of charts and text boxes as needed.
